Help and support
The short version
- Write to [email protected]. We answer within a few working days, and a question about your data within a month at the latest.
- To cancel getWear+, cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name and Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it. How to cancel.
- To delete your account, go to You then Delete my data in the app. It happens at once, and our backups clear within 30 days. Delete account says what goes, the few things that stay, and how to ask if you no longer have the app.
Signing in
How do I sign in?
The first screen has three ways in: Continue with Apple, Continue with Google and Continue with email. None of them uses a password. With email, type your address and tap Send me a code: a code arrives in your inbox, and you type it into the app.
is for people aged 16 and over. By continuing, you confirm you are.
The code has not arrived, or does not work
Look in your spam or junk folder, and check the address the app says it sent the code to. A code runs out after a while, so if it says so, tap Send a new code and use the newest one. After too many tries the app asks you to wait a minute before you try again.
I signed in and my wardrobe is not there
Sign in the same way you did the first time: with the same Apple ID, the same Google account or the same email address. If it is still not there, write to us from that address and we’ll look for it.
Romy, and what the app makes
Is Romy a person?
No. Romy is an AI, your stylist in the app. Her words are written by AI models from what you tell her and the pieces you own. The privacy notice names each AI service, says what it receives and where it runs.
Are the try-on pictures real?
A try-on is a picture generated from your photo and your pieces: an illustration of how they might look on you, not a photograph. It will sometimes get a sleeve, a fall or a shade wrong. A look is a suggestion from your own wardrobe and the weather. Neither is advice, and the terms say so in full.
Romy said something wrong, or worse
Tell us, whether it was something Romy said, a look or a try-on. Write to [email protected] with a screenshot and a line about what happened. We read every message.
Your privacy, in a sentence
We keep what you give to dress you, we send to each service only what it needs to do its part, we never sell any of it, and you can export it or delete it from the app at any time. The privacy notice says the rest, and in the app You then Privacy and data shows what leaves your phone and who receives it.
getWear+ and its prices
is free to use, with daily and monthly allowances. getWear+ raises them. You choose it in the app under You then Plan, which also shows each plan’s allowances today.
- Free Nothing to pay
- Your whole wardrobe, with daily looks, try-ons each month and messages to Romy each day, up to the allowances in the app.
- getWear+, monthly £7.99 or€7.99 a month
- Higher allowances for looks, messages to Romy, try-ons and Live, and the shopping that finishes a look.
- getWear+, yearly £67.99 or€67.99 a year
- The same as monthly, paid once a year.
- Founding member £59.99 or€59.99 a year
- All of getWear+, paid yearly, at a price held for as long as your subscription stays active. The first 1,000 people only.
getWear+ is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase and charged to your Apple ID. It renews until you cancel it. There is no free trial: Free is the way to try . The terms set out the subscription in full.
How to cancel getWear+
Apple sells getWear+, so you cancel it in your Apple ID’s settings, not in the app:
- On your iPhone, open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap getWear.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to find it.
Apple explains it, with other devices, in Cancel a subscription from Apple. Cancel at least a day before the current period ends to stop the next renewal.
When you cancel, you keep getWear+ until the end of the period you paid for, and then you are on Free. Nothing is deleted. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel getWear+: Apple keeps charging until you cancel it here.
Refunds are Apple’s: ask at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring getWear+
Your plan belongs to your account and works wherever you sign in to it. If you reinstall the app or change phones, sign in the way you did before, then go to You then Plan and tap Restore purchases. In the beta there is nothing to buy, so there is nothing to restore.
The beta
How do I join?
On iPhone, the beta runs on Apple’s TestFlight, by invitation. If you’d like to be in it, write to us and tell us a little about yourself. We send the invitation ourselves.
Is anything for sale in the beta?
No. Nothing is for sale on TestFlight, and a tester’s getWear+ is ours to give for the beta, with nothing to pay.
How do I send feedback?
In the app, You then Give feedback asks five short questions about the beta. Answer the ones you like; we read every answer. To show us something on the screen, take a screenshot and tap Share Beta Feedback, or open TestFlight, choose and tap Send Beta Feedback. Apple passes it on to us.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to You then Delete my data and tap Delete everything. Your photos, your wardrobe, your looks, Romy’s notes and your account go at once, and our backups clear within 30 days. You can You then Export my data first to keep a copy. Cancel getWear+ before you delete, as above.
Delete account says what goes and what stays, and how to ask us if you no longer have the app.
